Reports on the news say that it’s not officially summer! After reaching the top 2 highest temperatures for the year in the last few weeks, the country is now ready for a more ‘scorchingly’ hot and humid weather.
It’s now time to fold up and store those heated mattress pads and get your swimming suits out. It’s also timely that most deal sites have great bargains for beach getaways which also signals the start of the summer months.

Have you ever tried to buy a piece of bulky furniture online? Because I’m such a fan of online shopping, I suggested on buying a movable desk and pedestal online. The deal went through without a hitch, but upon assembly of the pedestal, we noticed that one of wheels were broken.
We weren’t sure if it was damaged during shipping or unloading but now we’ve got to find a solution for the damage, which is not covered by warranty. I was told we would need to look for threaded stem casters but I’m thinking maybe it would be better if we just bring the whole pedestal to a repair shop or a hardware shop to make sure we get the right parts.
I guess warranty is one thing I should discuss with online sellers next time. On our end, I’ll also try to get photos of anything I have delivered as I unbox them so that I can prove that the damage was from our end.
