It has never been easy to take a break from the online world. My day starts with reading a couple of articles from various news sites then I check my emails for work items. Once I start working on my tasks, I get so absorbed with it that I end up working for long hours without even realizing it.
A couple of weeks back, it was Holy Week here and I tried to make time and spend most of it with my family since the hubby is off from work. It was then that we found out about a series called Revenge starring Madeleine Stowe, Emily VanCamp and Gabriel Mann among others. The story got us so intrigued that we tried to look online for the streaming of the next few episodes.
One episode caught my eye. It was when Jack offered to repair and move the swing on Emily’s porch. I’ve always wanted to have swings whenever I have my own house, one on the porch and another in the backyard where it’s more private. Actually, Emily’s house is somewhat how I’ve always imagined a house on the beach. I really do hope that later in life we can make that dream into a reality.
For now, we’re very content in admiring the houses at the Hamptons from the show. I’m glad we found this new past time. Those videos online have never been more inviting for me until now. I still hope to get it on Bluray though just so I can keep it for future viewing (when I want to look back at that dream house again).
