Since it’s the start of the -ber months, the one thing I need to be ready for is Halloween. At 2, my little girl now wants to participate in Halloween Trick or Treat programs. I have no preference in mind but I’m also asking my friends for those that they don’t use anymore. After all, these costumes are only worn once or twice a year.
A friend actually gave me a school girl costume that can be paired with a child’s costume but I need to lose a little more weight to carry it off. I guess we’ll what our plans are for Halloween but I really wanted for us to have a family theme this year.
One thing I love about being online a lot is I can find real great bargains when I need them. Since it’s the start of the -ber months, I’m thinking of making a list for my Christmas gifts already. Why this early? So I can maximize the deals I see online and if something in my list comes up on sale, especially Holiday sale, then I can buy it and scratch it off my list. By doing this I’m hoping I don’t cram too much as Christmas nears.
I’m thinking of changing my gift items for my nephew and niece, as well as for some of my godchildren. Instead of an expensive toy, I think I’ll try gift baskets for kids this year. I can budget the same amount for the whole basket but they’ll have an assortment of chocolates and maybe I can throw in a small stuffed toy too. I know they’re used to chocolates but now when it comes in a big basket. I just think they’ll love it.
