I have started to set aside some money to buy a new laptop for myself. I work online, and I feel it’s only best if I buy my own laptop since it is my bread and butter. I can move anywhere, live anywhere, and do everything I want as long as I have it. I couldn’t afford to spend a lot though, since I have to be practical, and I also would want to set aside some money for a small business that I plan to start with a good friend. I was considering to buy a Dell, but they don’t have any service centers here, and I kind of lost interest in the whole Dell laptop thing. Sort of just waned. But going back, I am now trying to consider my options — Acer or Toshiba. I like Toshiba because my former boss was raving about how good Toshiba laptops are, and even some of my friends who are computer geeks err, experts told me it would be a wise investment to buy a Toshiba laptop. So now I am confused. I like Acer because it’s quite a good brand too, and the Acer dealer here in Zamboanga is my dearest cousin’s BFF, so repairs and the likes won’t be any problem. However, I am really inclined to get a Toshiba because of the beautiful reviews online about overall durability and the high quality battery (really long battery life) that each Toshiba laptop has.
Anyone care to share their take on this? I would really appreciate any kind of input. TIA!
